Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Killen, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Town of Killen will be accepting sealed bids for a paving and striping project al Killen Park, consisting of (3) parking lots, an entryway, and a walking path for the Farmers Market. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Town of Killen in an amount not less than (5) percent of the amount of bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany the bidder's proposal. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be li- censed under provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Town of Killen reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Paving thickness of exsisting lots and entryway should be a minimum of 1.50" Total Estimated Sq. Footage = 71,000 Paving thickness of farmers market trail should be a minumum of 2.00" Paving thickness of gravel lot should be a minumum of 2.00" Stripe all lots
