The project involves resurfacing an existing parking lot and the installation of storm infrastructure including underground storage. The existing gravel will be replaced by concrete and asphalt. The project is located at 146 Dover Road NW, Sugarcreek, OH 44681. This project is federally assisted and therefore is subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions, including the payment of prevailing wage rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. Each bid shall be in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope upon the forms furnished with the specifications, shall contain the full name of each person, agency/company, submitting the bid, and shall be signed by an official authorized to execute a contract. The Board of Education will award the contract on June 27th of 2024 if the bid meets all specifications. In the case of corporations not chartered in Ohio, the bid shall be accompanied by a proper certificate of the Secretary of State, certifying that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio. The amount of the bid for said guaranty purposes shall include all additive alternates. All bid guarantees shall be conditioned that if the bid is accepted within sixty (60) days of the bid opening, a proper Contract shall be executed, and that upon failure or refusal to enter into said Contract within ten (10) days after receipt of notification of award, the bidder and surety on any bond shall be liable to the township in an amount not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the bid.
