Site work for a civil project in Horse Cave, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Contract 1 consists of the material purchase of four (4) new water booster pump station skids complete with VFD's, pump control panel, hydro-pneumatic tank and necessary piping appurtenances for a complete and fully operable water booster pump skid as specified. Installation of the water booster pump station and associated equipment and appurtenances is not part of this Contract. The equipment shall be delivered within 120 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100 per calendar day. Contract 2 consists of the material purchase of four (4) new prefabricated insulated steel buildings and necessary appurtenances for a complete and fully operable pump enclosure system as specified. Installation of the buildings and associated equipment is not part of this Contract. The buildings shall be delivered to a site designated by the Water District. The prefabricated buildings shall be delivered within 120 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100 per calendar day. Contract 3 consists of the material purchase for the waterlines, valves, and all necessary piping appurtenances for the water line extensions as shown on the plans. Installation of the waterlines and associated equipment and appurtenances is not part of this Contract. The waterline materials shall be delivered to a site designated by the Water District. This contract shall be completed within 120 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100 per calendar day. Contract 4 consists of the installation of 70 linear feet of 12" steel casing and 40 linear feet of 8" steel casing, installed through the bore and jack method. The Contractor shall furnish the casing pipe and complete the bore and jack casing installations as shown on the plans. This contract shall be completed within 120 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $800 per calendar day. Each Bidder of Contract 4 must accompany his/her bid with a Bid Bond in amount of not less than five (5) percent of the base bid. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of 90 days. The Bidder awarded Contract 4 shall execute a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond and shall furnish insurance as required, in the General Conditions. No bonds are required for Contracts 1, 2, & 3. Any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. The Water District reserves the right to reject all bids and waive informalities. Bidders must have experience with similar types of projects. The Water District reserves the right to request a list of references.
