Contract 2 consists of the material purchase of four (4) new prefabricated insulated steel buildings and necessary appurtenances for a complete and fully operable pump enclosure system as specified. Installation of the buildings and associated equipment is not part of this Contract. The buildings shall be delivered to a site designated by the Water District. The prefabricated buildings shall be delivered within 120 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100 per calendar day. Copies of the Contract Documents May Be Obtained From Lynn Imaging, 328 Old Vine Street, Lexington, KY 40507 (859-226-5850) and online Upon Payment of $100.00 Per Set Plus Any Shipping Charges. Each Bidder of Contract 4 must accompany his/her bid with a Bid Bond in amount of not less than five (5) percent of the base bid. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of 90 days. The Bidder awarded Contract 4 shall execute a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond and shall furnish insurance as required, in the General Conditions. No bonds are required for Contracts 1, 2, & 3. Any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. The Water District reserves the right to reject all bids and waive informalities. Bidders must have experience with similar types of projects. The Water District reserves the right to request a list of references. Small, minority and women's owned businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to bid on this project
