The results of the 2010 Census shows the City now has a population of 76,610 citizens. The economic strength of the City of Bloomington metropolitan area is well diversified with no single dominating industry. A pre-bid meeting/site visit will not be held for this solicitation. It is highly suggested that interested parties view the project site and/or understand the requirements of the solicitation before submitting a response. Owner Rights: The City of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities. Bond Notes Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award.
