This project includes but is not limited to the following: ? Replacement of 1000 square feet of flooring for the Mclean County Coroner’s Office Morgue, X-Ray room and hallway. ? Cleaning and preparation of existing floor by removing existing epoxy flooring and any existing contaminants. ? Prepare existing concrete to a CSP 2-3 profile for proper application of the new scoped materials. ? Installation of Sherwin/Williams Softop Comfort SL Decorative ¼" Elastomeric Flooring with a Sherwin/Williams Resutile 9685 Protective & Marine Polyurethane resin topcoat. ? Scheduling to minimization downtime for the Coroner’s Office operations. ? Follow all manufacturer's instructions for prep and application of flooring system. ? Daily cleanup of construction debris and materials. ? Implement odor and dust reduction by applying positive air flow to the work area to prevent infiltration to other parts of the facility during removal and application. ? Integral cove base application on all area walls for a seamless finish. ? Removal of base cabinet cove base trim and re-install. Approximately 50 linear feet. ? Work to be performed on weekdays from 7:30am to 4:30pm unless otherwise approved by the Mclean County Project Manager. ? Water will be provided by Mclean County at a wall hydrant point on the exterior. Water hose(s) and connections will be the awarded contractor’s responsibility. ? Polyurethane finish texture and color selections will be shared during the pre-bid conference. ? One year minimum warranty on labor and application. ? The Mclean County Facilities Department will remove all non-stationary equipment and materials from the work area before the flooring contractor begins work and will replace items when the work is complete. ? Base cabinets and morgue workstations will remain in place. Flooring to be applied up to the base cabinet toe kick boards and around the legs of the workstations to prevent removal of stationary items and equipment.
