Site work for a water / sewer project in Frederick, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Generally, the project entails the connection of the existing 12" waterline at the intersection of Spring Ridge Parkway & Baldridge Drive with full restoration of the intersection complete. In addition, the project also entails a new 10" waterline to be installed running parallel to Eaglehead Drive. The new 10" line shall tie into the existing 10" line on Arapahoe Road and ties into the 10"x10"x6"x6" cross w/buttress per detail 103.1 on the intersection of Eaglehead Drive and Whooping Crane Way. A 10" cap/blow off per detail 116.1 shall be installed on the new 10" DIP AWWA Class 52 water main along Eaglehead Drive. Finally, a new 8" DIP gate valve shall be installed on the corner of Whooping Crane Way and Whistling Swan Way per the contract documents. All items shall be restored with Bituminous pavement and associated landscaping per the contract documents. The installation of the water distribution extensions accomplishes the goal to improve the hydraulics within the Arapahoe Road, Whooping Crane Way, Baldridge Drive, Springridge Parkway & Eaglehead Drive. Questions due no later than 4:00 PM on February 21, 225 Performance Bond: 100% of contract amount Labor & Material Payment Bond: 100% of contract amount Bid Guaranty 5% The Owner reserves the right to revise the Bidding Documents orthe Bid Date by issuing Official Addenda to all Bidders during the bidding period.
