Fire Protection Services, Preventative Maintenance, and Repairs Project Location: Allen Hall,288 Lyman Street (Rear), Westborough, MA 01581 Estimated Construction Cost: $146,000 Contractor to provide Preventative Maintenance, Testing, Inspection, Monitoring and Repairs for the Fire Protection System (Fire Alarm, Suppression / Sprinkler, Pre-action w/ VESDA, and Fire Pump). Includes 24/7 emergencies response. Building is an active inpatient facility. Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of the Division of Occupational Safety under the provisions of Sections 26 and 27, Chapter 149 of the General Laws and will be included in the bid package. Each general bid proposal must be secured by an uploaded photocopy of an accompanying deposit of 5% of the total bid amount, including all alternates, in the form of a bid bond, a certified, treasurer's, or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Awarded vendor will then mail the original 5% deposit bond or check to the Department of Mental Health Engineering and Facilities Management Department at 167 Lyman Street Room 158 Westborough, MA 01581. The Department reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any or all Bids if it is in the public interest to do so. After attending the Non-Mandatory Pre Bid Conference, all bidding questions must be uploaded to COMMBUYS by 12:00PM Friday 6/07/2024. Project Duration is estimated at three (3) years. MBW/WBE Contractors are encouraged to inquire about this project.
