Installation must be completed no later than 90 days ARO. Location: 170 Apricot Street Worcester, MA 01603 Services: o (1) CAT6 cable to be run from interior camera nearest IDF o Mounting, aiming, and installation of camera equipment Wiring and Mounting Requirements: Installation of one (1) - Category 6 (CAT-6) plenum cable to each predetermined location. Vendors will be required to terminate to the nearest backbone IDF, provided room is available for additional patch panels. Vendors may be required to run cabling further than the nearest IDF No wire run will exceed CAT 6 specified maximum distance of 100 Meters. Vendor is responsible for providing all patch panels, connectors, hangers, patch cables, mounting hardware and any other supplies necessary to provide a complete (turnkey) installation. Hangers must be used above ceiling tiles and may not be laid on top of tiles. Any wiring done below the ceiling must be piped in EMT. Vendor is responsible to provide watertight connections for exterior mounted cameras and intercoms. All interior penetrations must be fire stopped and the exterior caulked. Camera Installation: Integration of cameras will include a meeting, before project start, with WPS personnel to verify correct positioning and aiming of cameras. Integration will be considered complete only after verification, by Worcester Public Schools Technical Services, all work has been performed as per specification. No payment will be made before this verification. The vendor must verify door controller and video station functionality.
