The Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners is seeking to hire a professional contractor to repair approximately 100 miles of dirt roads. The work required will be to pull front and back slopes on the ditches and crown the roads for proper drainage. The project should take approximately five (5) months to complete, depending on weather conditions. Should the roads require materials for repair or culverts, the county will transport and furnish the materials. If culverts are needed the county will install the culverts. The contractor will be required to provide before and after photos, GPS coordinates, and documentation to substantiate the work completed on each road, per FEMA requirements. Each road will be inspected and approved by the Hamilton County Road Superintendent prior to proceeding to the next road.
