Reference Number 0000354004 Job Location: Golden, Colorado Estimated Construction Cost: $570,000 The Colorado School of Mines intends to select a Synthetic Turf Contractor who will construct the project as described. This project consists of the removal of the natural grass and infield mix softball field and replacement with a new drainage gravel base and synthetic turf field at the Colorado School of Mines Softball Field Complex. The scope of services will include full Construction Contracting Services during the process of construction, and warranty period to the State. Specific tasks to be performed by the Contractor include those generally performed by the construction community where the Contractor is the prime vendor to the State. The awarded GC is required to provide documentation that contractors performing mechanical, electrical or plumbing (and their subs) participate in apprenticeship programs registered with US Department of Labor with a graduating record of at least 15% of its apprentices for the last 3 of the last 5 years. This project is subject to State prevailing wage rates and apprenticeship rates as well as the Buy Clean Colorado Act (BCCO) program requirements.
