Site work and paving for a civil project in Ludlow, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

As of July 1, 2024, project was awarded but awarded amount is not available. Construction (Non Building), Culvert Replacement, Paving Contractor, Road Construction Scope of Services/Project Requirements: o Complete up to 40,000 square feet of partial or full depth reconstruction including subbase placement, compaction, and pavement placement. o Complete up to 12,000 square feet of pavement repair. o Remove eight existing culverts and install eight replacements. o Dispose all removed culverts and pavement off-site at an approved disposal location. o Blend excavated native material into woodlands outside of shoulder. o Seed and mulch all exposed soil with rye and straw weekly and/or before anticipated rains. o Complete work in a timely manner in one season (approximately between June 26, 2024 and October 15, 2024) ideally, and absolutely by June 30, 2025. o Execute work such that the road will be available for use by vehicles on weekends and July 4th . o Segments will be selected such that all work sites will be paved by the end of the construction period. o All materials, labor, and equipment (except culverts identified in Attachment E), will be supplied by Contractor. o The Contractor will assess the site and identify any additional square footage of rebuild or patching needed beyond the square footage listed above. This additional need will be documented in writing to FPR or its designee and, if approved, repaired as part of this project using the same rates provided in the price schedule. These approved changes and associated total estimated costs will be documented in an updated activities work list shown in Attachment E and total contract value through an amendment. o No additional culverts beyond the eight noted above will be installed with this contract. o All work is to be completed in general accordance with the standards in Attachment E "Pavement Improvement Project, Okemo Mountain Road, Ludlow, VT" dated 1/9/2024 by TR Fellows Engineering.
