The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work and new construction of a municipal facility. As of May 31, 2024, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, equal to 10% of the bid, binding bidder to enter into contract. Bid Bonds must be from a surety approved by the owner and licensed in the State of Illinois. The following contract documents are included as part of this invitation to bid and will become part of your contract: A) Notice to Bidders B) Insurance Requirements C) Instruction to Bidders D) Bid Package Scope of Work E) Bid Form F) Sexual Harassment Statement G) Drug Free Workplace Statement H) Statement on Bid Riggings I) All Drawings and Specifications The bidder is solely responsible for reviewing and familiarizing itself with the contents of all contract documents before submitting its bid. All blanks in bid form must be completed. Only the Bid Form, Sexual Harassment Statement, Drug Free Work Place Act, Statement on Bid Rigging need to be submitted with your bid. D. Contact people are as follows: The Village of Monee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest to the Owner. B. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on publicly funded projects including certified payroll and bidders must comply with Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor including equal employment opportunity laws. The Owner has selected PSI Construction as the Construction Manager for this project. Bids are being taken by PSI Construction from individual Prime Contractors as outlined in the Bid Package Scopes of Work. Delete all reference to General Contractor (if any) in the bid documents and insert applicable Prime Contractor.
