The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy is seeking a qualified contractor for the construction of a new facility for BC Parks staff for equipment and material storage and heated office and meeting space. This new facility is located within the Park Operator Service Yard for Kokanee Park. BC Parks has identified a space that will provide independent areas for both groups. The scope of work in this project: Attendance at an office and on-site pre-construction meeting prior to commencement of construction works; All planning, administration and incidental supplies to meet the project objectives. Provide private accommodation as required for all workers. Keep the work site secure and free of debris and garbage. Demolish buildings, foundations, sidewalks, pavement, and concrete slabs. Dispose of all materials at a suitable facility off site in accordance with RDCK bylaw and Provincial policy; Supply and install new well and service line. Perform well test and water quality testing. Supply and install new on site septic system. Supply and install new temporary and permanent electrical service. Supply and install communication cable. Excavate and construction new foundations. Construction new office, workshop and storage building (framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, roof, finishing) Supply and place new concrete apron. Prepare subgrade for new pavement, place new road base and pavement. Site cleanup, place crush gravel, topsoil, and reseed with park lawn mix. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
