Contractors submitting proposals must be a Maryland Department of the Environment Licensed Marine Contractor. Question Deadline; 06/12/2024 at 12:00 PM ET, Written questions and comments regarding the Specifications, Permit Drawings and Bid Submission Documents shall be directed to Eric Lane at elane@talbotcountymd.gov . Written questions shall be received in order that responses can be provided to all bidders in advance of the bid date. Bid security shall be furnished as stipulated in the project Specifications, Information for Bidders. Funding sources for the project will include local funding and a State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) grant. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, alternate, or any portions thereof when, in their judgment, the public will be better served.
