Site work and paving for a road / highway in Spooner, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Seeking sealed bids from reliable contractors for the following piece of Town of Spooner roadwork. Mann Road: Rebuild Mann Road from Highway A Intersection south approximately .75 of one mile. Pulverizing existing pavement and add gravel to 3" thick X 21' wide to the existing base. Add 1' of gravel to the shoulders in addition to the 21' wide base for paving. Road is marked where work would be done. Mann Road: Repave above roadway with 2" thick and 20' wide hot mix asphalt. Each bid shall be accompanied with a proof of bidders Workers Compensation Insurance and Liability Insurance in the amount of one million dollars. All bids shall state that "All work to be performed by November 15, 2024" Any inquires can be directed to Road Supervisor Jon Johnson Sr. at 715-635-7749. The Town of Spooner reserves the right to waive any formalities in the preparation of a bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
