This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by Centre d'excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (CEA FRANCOachat) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Exterior Door Replacement at Ecole elementaire publique Des Sentiers - CEPEO, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Centre d'excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat (CEA FRANCOachat) is a shared service organization providing procurement services for member school boards in the province of Ontario. This competitive procurement process is being completed on behalf of the following school board: Conseil des ecoles publiques de l'Est de l'Ontario, 2445 Saint-Laurent Boulevard Ottawa (Ontario) K1G 6C3. Hereinafter, the above named school board are referred to as "Board" unless otherwise specified. The Intent of this RFQ is to obtain quotations from respondents to complete an Exterior Door Replacement at Ecole elementaire publique Des Sentiers - CEPEO at 2159 Nantes St, Orleans, ON K4A 4C4 for a Stipulated Price contract in the form of CCDC 2-2020 with Supplementary Conditions, in accordance with all RFQ Documents and Terms and Conditions outlined herein (the "Contract"). Contract work is to commence no later than July 2nd, 2024 and most of the door replacement shall be substantially completed by 26th of August 2024. Please note, the Board requires that the doors are installed in phases following the production of the door series. This being said, if some door replacements are not completed before the 26th of August 2024, the remaining works replacements can go beyond the 26th of August but not later than the 9th of September 2024. All remaining work planned when students are back as of 27 August 2024 shall be closely scheduled with the Client and Consultant and will involve mostly off-hours work which does not interfere with the operation of the school. Costs for overtime and/or off-hour time shall be at the expense of the General Contractor and must be included in bid submission. The Contractor shall also be responsible to maintain the security of the site in the areas where door replacements occur. This involves providing temporary measures suitable to the Client for any area which cannot be completed in one day and requires that the site be exposed overnight. As a precondition of award, the Board will require the successful respondent to submit a work schedule in response to this RFQ, presenting the manufacturing time plus the RFQ (Low Bid) - Roof replacement at Ecole elementaire publique Des Sentiers Page 4 of 34 installation works, on site. The successful Respondent shall consider an installation on site done by steps in parallel with the manufacturing process. The Board has prequalified General Contractors from RFSQ #21-198. The prequalified General Contractors will be invited from Category 2 ($100,000 to $500,000).
