Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

1. Selectively remove and dispose of existing damaged ceiling tiles. (estimate 150 - 200 of these). After tile removal, the ceiling assembly must be finished to ensure that no components fall onto the new ceiling grid system, including blown in insulation. Refer to ceiling section on Drawing A1. 2. Install new T-Bar grid, ceiling tiles and clips. 3. Install new recessed light fixtures as per electrical drawings and specifications. Including wiring for new basketball backstop unit. 4. Remove and dispose of existing backstop and winch at stage. Rim and net to be kept and given to DTI. New basketball backstop unit out of scope. 5. Adjust sprinkler system heads to suit new ceiling tile. 6. Contractor to protect the gym floors when doing this work; any costs to repair the gym floor due to the work of the contract will be borne by the contractor.
