Georgia State University (GSU, Using Agency) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing General Contractor (GC) services This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify the most qualified potential providers of the services mentioned above. Firms determined by the Owner to be the most qualified for this project will be invited to offer Competitive Sealed Bids for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and additional terms and conditions listed in the Owners Request for Qualifications / Request for Competitive Sealed Bids (RFQ/RFP). GSU reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of GSU. BoR Project Bo. BR-50-2404 GSU proposes to develop a new baseball field that would feature seating for 1,000 spectators with a shade structure, field lighting, artificial turf, and buildings to house concessions, restrooms, and the press box. Also included are field dugouts, Field House, maintenance structure, batting cages and ticket booth. The project would be constructed on the current location of GSU's Green Lot along Pollard Boulevard, which includes the footprint of the former Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. The site environmental assessment has found unfavorable subsurface materials. The contaminated materials appear to be primarily debris from the former stadium. The owner's representatives and GC will work with Ga EPD on the Environmental Management Plan for compliance with Brownsfield site development. The intent is to primarily import soil.
