Sealed bids are invited for the FACILITIES SERVICES - FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION at 280 Woodbine Road, Clear Brook, Virginia according to drawings and specifications prepared by RRMM Architects, Architecture | Planning | Interiors. The project is generally described as the complete replacement of the fire alarm system in Facilities Services building with the existing system remaining active until the new system is complete. Work Location: Facilities Services Building, 280 Woodbine Road, Clear Brook, VA 22624. A Bid Bond and Contract Security will be required of all bidders regardless of amount. Bidders shall be required to bind their bid for sixty (60) days. The contract for the project shall be awarded on a lump sum basis of the Base Bid plus such Alternates as the Owner in its sole discretion decides to award. Bidder's attention is directed to the requirements of Title 54, Chapter 11, of the Code of Virginia pertaining to registration of Contractors. The latest date for receipt by the Architect of bidders questions to be answered prior to receipt of bids will be Close of Business on Friday, June 07, 2024. ***Prebid meeting: The group will then proceed to Facilities Services, 280 Woodbine Road, Clear Brook, Virginia 22624 and Support Facilities West, 178 Indian Hollow Road, Winchester, Virginia 22603 for walk-throughs at each facility. All attendees must bring a valid state issued ID for access to the school buildings.
