The Development Authority of the North Country (Authority) is issuing this Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the furnishing of all construction, products, commodities, labor, equipment and material necessary for: Base Bid: - Leachate Manholes 1 thru 5 - Replacement of existing 6" schedule 80 PVC piping, 6" pinch valves, and 6" gate valve. Addition of ladder extensions to manhole covers. Refer to exhibits for details. -Leachate Manholes 12 thru 15 - Replacement of 8-10" schedule 80 PVC piping, reconfiguration of existing gate valves for above grade operation, installation of additional cleanout riser support within manhole, rotation of manhole covers to accommodate abovegrade valve actuation. Refer to exhibits for details. -Leachate Sideriser Buildings: Install new primary pumps using existing infrastructure and new sump pumps. -Pump Station 3: Replace 10' section of 10" schedule 80 PVC piping. Alternate Bid: -Furnish and install (25) permanent davit arm bases for fall protection. Leachate sideriser building work includes installation of (2) primary pumps using existing infrastructure and (2) sump pumps. Pump building work includes replacement of leaking piping between wet well and pump room. Alternate work will include the installation of 25 davit arm permanent bases to existing structures.
