North Main Terminal restrooms Project The Port of Seattle (the "Port") herewith solicits Submissions for the NORTH MAIN TERMINALRESTROOMS PROJECT (hereinafter referred to as the "Goods") as specified herein. The Port of Seattle is seeking 2 WA-state based artists to submit black and white photographs to be sited within SEA's Restrooms associated with the North Main Terminal project. The artwork should be available for acquisition by early Summer 2024, exploring ideas within the realm of history, craft, landscape, nature and the subject matter consistent with the artists' studio practice. The work must consider the aesthetic of the facility and proposed artworks must be thoughtful regarding long term maintenance and conservation. A selection committee of Port of Seattle's professional staff and members of the regional art community will evaluate the artist's qualifications. In the evaluation process, artworks will be assessed based on originality, artistic merit, relevance to the theme, and technical skill. Submissions must also adhere to specified requirements outlined below to be considered for selection. The Port reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is in the Port's best interest to do so. The total budget for this request is $70,000 total ($35,000 for each artist). This total project budget includes taxes, materials, delivery and or shipping costs.
