Reference Number 0000353991 Niskayuna Central School District desires to establish a contract with a contractor to overlay existing fiber sound panels at both ends of the Blatnick Gymnasium located at Niskayuna High School. Both areas of the gymnasium are approximately 70' wide and 12' high. The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to overlay existing fiber sound panels (12' x 70') with 4' x 8'x 1/2 " dense plastic material (White) panels, Install a border where overlay stops and panels begin; using Metal J channel on bottom, Metal Z channel on the top (White). The remaining panels that are not covered; cleaned of dust, remove attached devices (except scoreboard), surface primed with stain blocking primer, then painted LIGHT GRAY "Silver" (Refer to Brand Guide), attach devices removed and affixed to new surface. Panels on the side walls; cleaned of dust, attached devices covered and taped, surface primed with stain blocking primer, painted LIGHT GRAY "Silver" (Refer to Brand Guide) The intent of this RFB is to award a contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of the RFB. Bidders shall make all investigations necessary to thoroughly inform themselves about the District.
