Question and Answer period has been extended until June 20, 2024 @ 10:00 AM Industrial Slide Gate Operator- Provide and Install- Aviation Support Facility Edgewood Enclave. The location for all work to be performed is Edgewood Enclave, 8361 Wise Road, Building E4081 (AASF), Gunpowder, Maryland 21010. SCOPE of WORK The MMD is issuing this Small Procurement Solicitation to provide all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to remove and dispose of existing industrial slide gate operator and electric wiring, provide and install a new heavy duty industrial slide gate operator to include but not limited to fabricating a new mounting pad, lockable weatherproof steel cabinet, wireless edge kit, heater kit, button remote control, trench new conduit, add new disconnect, and wire new operator as per the specifications stated below. BASIS OF AWARD This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Section 13-104 of the State Finance and Procurement Article and the Small Procurement Regulations in Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 21.05.07. The basis of the award shall be the lowest responsive bid price from a responsible Bidder. The Maryland Military Department (MMD) is soliciting bids to procure the following: A Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to remove and dispose existing industrial slide gate operator and electric wiring, provide and install a new heavy duty industrial slide gate operator to include but not limited to fabricating a new mounting pad, lockable weatherproof steel cabinet, wireless edge kit, heater kit, button remote control, trench new conduit, add new disconnect, and wire new operator. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes. Question Deadline 06/18/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Term of Service: Sixty (60) Calendar Days The Department reserves the right to purchase replacement materials in the open market. Contractors failing to promptly replace materials lawfully rejected shall be liable for any excess price paid for the replacement, plus applicable expenses, if any. Plan Holders list not maintained.
