"Sealed Bid - Retaining Wall Construction for Flood Scour Protective Measures, Short lots Road CR 53 Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance, payment, and guarantee bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. This project is subject to the provision of Chapter 605, Laws of the State of New York of 1959, Section 103-A of The General Municipal Law and subsequent amendments. THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS The subject project consists of constructing a 100-foot long retaining wall for the stabilization of a shoreline along Sterling Creek in Herkimer County, New York. We understand a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall is being proposed. At the time of our investigation, the existing roadway was open to traffic. A vicinity map of the current culvert location can be found in Appendix A. The time for completion of the contemplated work shall be 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of receipt by the Contractor of written Notice to Proceed, plus the calendar days accumulated due to suspension of work during winter months.
