SCOPE OF WORK Proposals are required to address the following Scope of Work and provide the following deliverables: 1. Develop Existing Conditions. Inventory and document existing conditions within the project area. Add any relevant information related to future plans including topography, vegetation, structures, infrastructure and known considerations relevant to Civic Center Plaza. A specific recommendation was to incorporate public art and create a public art park. Contract term: 8-month. Location: Corning, NY. The City of Corning, NY is seeking professional design services to work with the City, a Public Art Committee, and community stakeholders in the development of a Master Plan for Civic Center Plaza. Civic Center Plaza is located on the south side of the Chemung River between key municipal and community buildings, including Corning City Hall, the Southeast Steuben County Public Library, and the U.S Social Security Administration building. Development of a Master Plan for Civic Center Plaza to create an enlivened, accessible four-season gathering space for the community with a focus on public art The City of Corning reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and the City reserves the right to negotiate the scope of services, costs or other terms and conditions with any individual/firm submitting a proposal.
