The Project includes the following Work: This project includes the removal of existing site features included but not limited to pavement, free standing concrete wall, stormwater infrastructure, fencing, curbing, sidewalk, street trees, underground utilities, bollards and more. It includes the replacement of similar features including lighting and excavation in the City right-of-way. Interior work includes the removal and replacement of two sump pumps in the basement of the library to include all electrical and plumbing associated with this project All questions prior to the bid opening must be received by the close of business on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 5pm local time. The Owner may, at their discretion, waive informalities in bids, but is not obligated to do so, nor does this represent that the Owner will do so. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Under no circumstances will the Owner waive any informality which, by such waiver, would give one Bidder a substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all other Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the actual date of the opening, unless a mistake due to error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. Bidders must comply with Section 220- I of NYS Labor Law, and provide Certificate of Registration as a part of their bid.
