Asphalt Repair & Replacement at Foster Elementary School Class C-12 - Earthwork and Paving or Class A - General Engineering Contractor The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract. Any bidder not so licensed at the time of the bid opening will be rejected as non-responsive Project Scope of Work: Completely remove, install and replacement of new materials of existing Asphalt paving/sealcoating of parking lots as defined by the scope of the work and specifications at Foster Elementary School All bids shall comply with all applicable labor compliance requirements under the California Labor Code, including but not limited to, registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (Labor Code Sections 1771.1(a) and 1725.5), 1771, 1771.4, 1773.2, 1774, 1776, 1777.5, 1813, and 1815. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage requirements as stated by U.S. Dept of Labor It is your responsibility to print 2 copies of the prevailing wage rates, one for your office file and one to post at the job site. You are also responsible for complying with the apprenticeship standards requirements of the Labor Code.
