The City of Modesto, Utilities Department, Water and Wastewater Divisions, request the purchase and delivery of 240V and 480V ABB ACQ580 or equal; variable frequency drive (VFD) units, to control the motor speed of well and sewer pump stations. VFD units' range in size from 10-hp to 250-hp, depending on the size of the motor. VFD units shall be ordered on an "as needed" basis, throughout the life of the agreement.
