Renovation of a laboratory facility in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
1. Work of this Contract comprises renovations of the mechanical systems at the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS). Work included in the scope includes, but is not limited to: a. Adding an effluent treatment system to serve the existing Necropsy Laboratory in the Main Research Building (MRB). b. Replacing trench drain grates and replacing drainage piping serving the Wet Lab of the Laboratory in the Main Research Building (MRB). c. Adding a pump out system and drainage to serve the existing Laydown tank within the Main Research Building (MRB). d. Adding a hydraulic bridge connection between the primary and secondary heating glycol header within the Field Maintenance Building (FMB). e. Relocating glycol heating mains within the within the Field Maintenance Building (FMB).
