The project includes, but is not limited to the construction of a steel and glass canopy structure along the departures curbside to facilitate passenger drop-off at the Clinton National Airport and is comprised of the canopy structure with associated finish materials, lighting, communication devices, signage, bollards, drainage, and pavement improvements. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from are liable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. Such bid guarantee shall be made payable to Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission. The Little Rock Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and/or bidding process deemed to be in the best interest of the Commission and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. Bids shall remain in effect 90 days after the bid opening date.
