Renovation of a mixed-use development in Muscatine, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
AEA Controlled Entrance project located at 1422 Houser Street, Muscatine, IA 52761 Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the time for receipt of bids. Lump sum proposals shall be for one general construction package. Bid security in the form of a bid bond only in an amount equal to 5 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Bid security shall be payable to the Muscatine Community School District. The Muscatine Community School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of Muscatine Community School District. Bid documents may be obtained from Sycamore Printing, 216 Sycamore Street, Suite #210, Muscatine, Iowa 52761. Phone: (563) 264-65017. Bid Documents consist of (1) set of drawings, and (1) project manual. General Contractors may obtain (1) set of bid documents in pdf-compatible digital format at no cost. General Contractors can pickup 1 hard copy set of bid documetns for a refundable deposit of $50. Additional digital sets, partial digital sets, and paper copies may be obtained by any contractor at the contractor's cost. Shipping costs shall be by the contractor.
