Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Frankfort, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

As of September 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 24, 2024. The work involved will include, but not limited to, the following: Base Bid, Schedule I - Rehabilitate approximately 2,600 LF of Runway 5-23 with Asphalt. This schedule of work will include full depth pavement removal, 3"" of cold asphalt milling, placement of aggregate base, placement of asphalt base and surface mixtures, removal of 36"" CMP, installation of 36"" RCP, temporary and permanent pavement markings, pavement grooving, guidance sign replacement, concrete PAPI foundation replacement, seeding and mulching. Base Bid, Schedule II - Rehabilitate approximately 2,400 LF of Runway 5-23 with Asphalt. This schedule of work will include, 3"" of cold asphalt milling, placement of asphalt surface mixture, temporary and permanent pavement markings, pavement grooving, rehabilitation of VOR and Glideslope access drives, seeding and mulching. Guarantee will be required with each bid as a certified check on a solvent bank or a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) % of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Kokomo Board of Aviation Commissioners. Performance & Payment Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The goals and timetables for minority and female participation, expressed in percentage terms for the Contractor's aggregate workforce in each trade on all construction work in the covered area, are as follows: Timetables Goals for minority participation for each trade: 5.6% Goals for female participation in each trade:6.9% These goals are applicable to all of the Contractor's construction work (whether or not it is Federal or federally assisted) performed in the covered area.
