Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Blacktop replacement at the County Jail in Portage, WI Locate all electrical, phone and fiber, water lines before removal of blacktop. Remove existing blacktop. Add Base course to all areas as needed, finish grade, compact, slope away from building and sidewalk areas next to building, slope according to present slope. "Heal in" to existing, newer blacktop, Infrared binding/bonding to last year's blacktop. Pave all areas with 1 1/2 " Binder Blacktop and roll compact. Pave all areas with 1 1/2 " Surface Blacktop and roll compact. Stripe all parking, handicap stall per existing overview map. (pg 13) All work to be coordinated in advance due to 24x7 occupancy of surrounding buildings. All invoices must have all the specifics for the project listed on the invoice with date of completion. Bid bond required. In accordance with Wisconsin Statutes Section 779.14(1m)(e), Bonds are required for the work. A 5% Bid Bond shall be delivered with the Bid on the date due. Question Deadline 06/14/2024 at 2:00 PM CT Any questions should be received Questions and answers will be posted to online on June 18, 2024. County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and is not bound to accept any bid if that bid is contrary to the best interest of Columbia County. County will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder.
