Renovation of a military facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The work consists of repairing exterior Concrete Masonry Units. The abatement and disposal of corrugated asbestos siding system, as well as the replacement of the roof system. Remediation and disposal of Lead-Containing paint. Replacement of exterior cladding, wall mounted light fixtures, Storage Room roof structure, ductwork, doors and entry awning. There will be demolition of abandoned conduits, Gamewell Masterbox with its associated conduits/brackets and shrubbery/roots/landscape border on the East side of the building. There will be a regrading of areas adjacent to the building to promote drainage away from the building and entryways. Storm water improvements will be provided as well. Pre-Propsal Inquiries (PPIs): PPIs must be submitted in writing on the attached Pre-Proposal Inquiry Form (ATTACHMENT F) to Jonathan Castillo at jonathan.y.castillo.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 20 June 2024 at 14:00 PM EST Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Time for completion: Contract completion date is 365 calendar days. The days are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, bonding and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. Task order award is considered notice to proceed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
