The scope of work consists of the open-cut replacement of approximately 4,300 linear feet of 4-inch diameter sewer line with new 12-inch diameter gravity sewer, open-cut replacement of approximately 1,250 linear feet of 4-inch sewer with new 8-inch sewer, the rehabilitation of approximately 45 services, installation of approximately 8 new 5-foot diameter manholes, replacement of approximately 8 manholes with new 5-foot diameter manholes, and the rehabilitation of approximately 4 manholes, and all appurtenances thereto. Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of at least five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements. Substantial completion for this project is set at 180 calendar days and final completion set at 210 calendar days, both beginning the date the Contract Time commences.
