Remodeling of a municipal facility in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

The Town of Chapel Hill reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of invitation to bid. The selected consultant shall provide all labor, materials, coordination, and professional expertise necessary to complete the following tasks. A. Design Coordination & Concept Development o Coordinate with Town staff to confirm program requirements and design intent. o Develop and refine the design concept consistent with Town standards, zoning, and applicable codes. B. Structural Engineering Services o Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal codes. o Prepare complete structural drawings suitable for construction bidding and permitting. o Design shall address: o Foundations o Framing systems o Load calculations o Connections and details o Coordinate structural design with architectural and site elements as applicable. C. Construction Documents o Prepare stamped and signed drawings by a licensed Professional Engineer or Design Firm in the State of Tennessee. o Provide technical specifications related to structural components. o Develop a coordinated, bid-ready drawing set suitable for public bidding. D. Permitting & Agency Coordination o Assist with responses to permitting agency comments related to structural design. o Revise drawings as necessary to obtain approvals. E. Bid Phase Support o Respond to bidder questions related to structural design. o Issue clarifications or addenda as requested by the Town. o Participate in pre-bid meetings if required.
