County Line Road Standpipe Rehabilitation. NBU shall accept requests for additional information or clarification concerning this RFP on or before 2:00 PM CST, June 19, 2024. NBU shall not answer any questions submitted after 2:00 PM CST, June 19, 2024. NBU shall have a reasonable amount of time to respond to questions or concerns regarding the RFP. NBU intends to respond to all questions; however, NBU reserves the right to decline to respond to a question or concern NBU has established a target commencement date for construction activities of the Project as October 1, 2024. The projected completion date is estimated to be one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. NBU reserves the right to phase the construction of the Project or modify the schedule as needed and determined by the NBU Board or staff due to modifications in scope. The estimated maximum construction budget is approximately $1,578,600.00 Description The Project is anticipated to include some or all of the following items within its scope: (iii) site security fencing (iv) storm water pollution prevention plan, (v) site restoration, and (vi) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. SUMMARY A. Construct Work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide the materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the Project completely and fully operable. 2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete Project. 3. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and all other Work required for a complete and operable Project. 4. Test and place the completed Project in operation. 5. Provide the special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as indicated in the Contract Documents for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 6. The Contract Documents do not indicate or describe all Work required to complete the Project. Additional details required for the correct installation of selected products are to be provided by the Contractor and coordinated with the Construction Manager. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Full rehabilitation of interior and exterior coating systems, including structural repairs and replacement of appurtenances for the existing 1.5 MG steel standpipe. 2. Demolition of minor structures as indicated on the Drawings. 3. Replacement of site security fencing. Fabrication or installation of any products prior to the approval of Shop Drawings is done at the Contractor's risk. Defective products may be rejected at the Owner's option.
