Pleasant Meadow Drive from Serenity Drive to Blacksmith Road, a distance of 430' x 33', a total of 1,577 SY. Fancy Hill Road from the Douglass/Berks Township line to the Earl Township line, a total of 4,950 x 23', a total of 12,650 SY. Leaf Creek Court from Pine Lane to the cul-de-sac, a distance of 790' x 33', a total of 2,897 SY, and the cul-de-sac, a distance of 100' x 100', a total of 1,111 SY. Earl Township portion of Fancy Hill Road from the Amity Township line to SR0562, a distance of 1,257' x 21', a total of 2,933 SY. This portion of the project must be invoiced separately to Amity Township. For each of the areas described below under Attachment 1A, 1B and 1C, Contractors should bid to do the following: Construct double bituminous seal coat application. PennDOT approved design required as per Pub 447 MS-0340-0005 attached. Seal coat design to be based on: #8 stone 1.0% loss by wash cover aggregate to be #9m 1.2% lbw, less than 200 ADT, condition of existing surface category (c) slightly pocked, pourous, and oxidized surface, CRS2PM (E-3M) emulsion. All workmanship and materials to be in compliance with PennDOT Pub 408, Section 470 & Pub 447 MS-0340-0005. Proof of PennDOT calibration of chipper and distributor required. Enough rubber tire rollers required to cover seal coat application in a single pass. Questions Due Date: Jun 10th 2024, 10:00 AM EDT All bidders, contractors, and subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified in Code (F) in order to bid on this project. Proof of prequalification required with bid submittal. Bituminous Price Adjustment as per Pub 408, Section 1104.04. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $850.00 per calendar day, after 9/15/2024. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, in required form, amounting to (10%) ten percent of the total base bid, payable to Amity Township. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract award shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 10 (ten) days after the contract is awarded. Amity Township reserves the right to reject any and all bidders, to waive any defects or irregularities and to make such award as it appears most advantageous to the Township.
