Contractor shall provide, perform and complete the following services: Removal and replacement of the asphalt parking lot at the LETS facility, 3950 W. Grand River, Howell, MI 48843 (Approximately 67,250 Square Feet) i. Place barricades to separate work area as required for protection of public, employees, and workers. ii. Saw cut, mill, and remove existing asphalt up to 4" thick, additional thickness at added cost. iii. Inspect existing aggregate base or remaining asphalt base to confirm stability. iv. Re-grade (if loose asphalt and gravel) and compact existing aggregate base in prep for new paving. v. Construct a final compacted 4" hot mixed asphalt with 2" MDOT #11 OOL,20AA and 2" MDOT #11 OOT,20AA. vi. Place MDOT SS-1h emulsion course (tack coat) between lifts as required for asphalt adhesion. vii. Asphalt placed with MDOT approved asphalt pavers. viii.
