Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Iron Mountain Public Schools District (referred to as IMPS) is looking to replace worn roof sections on the East Elementary and Izzo-Mariucci/Administration buildings. Both building's worn roof sections are currently ballast style roofs. The district is seeking proposals that would include options for ballast style and mechanically-fastened style. The East Elementary section includes the roofs that are above the 1994 addition to that building. The roof above the 1994 section is ballasted. The original portion of the building was constructed in 1960. That portion of the roof is mechanically-fastened. The Izzo-Mariucci/Administration Building section includes the roofs that are above the gymnasium (constructed 1964) and 2003 addition. These roofs are ballasted and were likely installed in 2003. The remaining portion of the roof is mechanically-fastened and was installed in 2013 or 2014. If a vendor has a question about the RFP, they may email rfp@imschools.org.
