This is a design/build contract and as such, the Townships' plans and specifications are conceptual and are intended to provide guidance to complete the proposed work. The bidder is required to carefully examine the proposal, plans, specifications, and project site before submitting a bid. The submission of a bid will be considered proof that the bidder has made such examination and understands the conditions. Subsurface material information may not necessarily be indicated on the drawings. The Contractor is required to examine and familiarize himself with the site and make such subsurface exploration as he deems necessary in connection with his bid. All proposals shall be submitted to the Bid titled, "Bartram Covered Bridge Timber Truss Repair" under the number, "Newtown Township, Delaware County", on online. Each Bid shall include the bidder, bidder's address, license number (if applicable), and the name of the project for which the Bid is being submitted.
