Reference Number 0000354552 The Housing Authority of the City of Aurora, CO (AHA) owns and manages 14 properties with over 960 units. The development pipeline includes building a new permanent supportive housing community with 43 units. AHA is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/Owner's Representative to assist the agency in working with architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades in providing management of the procurement process as well as construction oversight for new construction. The firm would work specifically on Sanctuary on Potomac, a new construction project located at 1280 S. Potomac Street in Aurora, Colorado. Sanctuary on Potomac will be built on .70 acres and include 43 one-bedroom units in one, four story building. The project has been awarded federal 9% tax credits. Davis Partnership is the architecture firm for the project. AHA has 50% Design Development drawings and our application for a site plan was recommended for approval by the Aurora Planning and Zoning Commission at a public hearing on November 21, 2023. Estimated hard costs are just over $15,000,000.
