The work to be done consists of:a. The weekly seasonal mowing and lawn care maintenance of the city park area, including the weed-eating of the park fence line and park tree line at the creek, and all areas around city hall. The pick-up and removal of trash in trash cans, litter, brush,and limb prior to the mowing ofall areas mentioned above. b. The spraying of weedkiller two (2) times a year during thegrowing season (March through October) between the curb and road pavement in the subdivisions of Littlebrook, Foxtrace,Jacob Springs and the Littlebrook Industrial Park, and around all city signs and guardrails. c. The additional growth maintenance by weed-eating around city signage and guardrails. d. The once (1) a month year round pick -up of litter on all of the city right-of-ways. e. The once (1) a year re-bedding of the City of Rockford playground area in the park. No bids will be received or accepted after the above-mentioned time for the opening of Bids. Bids submitted after the designated hour will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the Bidder. Bids shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope with all the information required by law, including the name of the project and the bidder's name, address and license number, and expiration date. The project herein described isto be completed within thirty (30)calendar days from the date of award of contract. The owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids.
