Renovation of a detention facility in Maury, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Department of Adult Correction invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout services for the replacement of existing chiller, boiler, and water heaters at the Eastern Correctional Institution located in Maury, NC to include installation of one 275- 300 ton chiller, one 85 HP boiler, and two 400 gallon 2400 MBH water heaters with associated equipment and piping. NC Licensing Statement :In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina Full design services are required and will include all submittal requirements for the State Construction Office for all submittal phases, Cost Estimates updated at each phase with each SCO submittal, with Technical Specifications edited with online in online 2006, bidding services, construction administration services, record drawings in both online (latest version) and Revit, and project closeout as defined by the State Construction Manual (Twelfth Ed.). Total Project Budget $1,727,000 (with $126,628.41 Available for Design)
