DESCRIPTION: A. Scope: The project consists of gutting and replacing four existing pump stations including Pump Station #1 (Campground Area), Pump Station #2 (Cabins Area), Pump Station #3 (Lodge Area), and the Spray Irrigation Pump Station (Lagoon Area). The Work will also consist of installing cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners throughout sections of the existing sewer collection system. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 20 working days subsequent to the specified bid opening time. The contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and as set out in the detailed plans and specifications. The Work includes SULZER submersible grinder pumps, guide rails with support brackets and bases, lifting chains, moisture/thermal alarm relays, mechanical float switches, variable frequency drives (VFDs), duplex control panels with High Tide Technologies cellular monitoring system, power monitoring systems, NEMA 4X electrical enclosures, and cured-in-place pipe liner.
