The City of Fort Saskatchewan is soliciting proposals for 2024 Public Works Yard Gates Replacement in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta. The scope of work for this project consists of the replacement of two (2) yard gates at the Public Works yard in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and this Contract, the Scope of Works shall include: Removal and disposal of existing slide gate systems - will require electrical to be isolated and disconnected. All electrical isolation, disconnection and reconnection to the new gates will be supplied by the Contractor. Alberta 1st Call will be supplied by the City of Fort Saskatchewan. Supply and install replacement horizontal gate system and operators, place gate operators onto pads and anchor in place. Features of gate system could include (options requested): Heat reflectors, sensors and motors - if required Programmable (remotely if possible) normal automatic open/close timers Ability to add holiday (one full calendar year) closures and one time event openings on closure days Brake beam Greasable rollers and wheels Warning/beacon and reflective material to ensure visibility Automatic exit opening after normal working hours Propose options for openers for system Propose options for remote adjustment or operation (ie: Phone App/Computer) Tie in existing access controls into the new gate operators, test and perform satisfactory commissioning.
