The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, and materials, as necessary to perform Commercial Restoration Floor Cleaning for the following 5 locations inside of the Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Center Complex: (Building A3, Building A4, Modular, Existing School, & Expansion Building). Contractor shall complete all work in accordance with all specifications, terms and conditions herein. Services are to be disinfected, sanitized, and restore tile, carpet, and concrete floors in the educational areas. Location- Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Center 1900 Chatsworth Avenue Bon Air, VA 23235 Specifications 1. The Contractor shall be responsible for the prepping areas for floor cleaning as needed. 2. The Contractor shall use a non-abrasive liquid stripping solutions and method to strip, seal, wax and buff/burnish all uncarpeted floors. 3. The Contractor shall clean all carpeted areas. Carpeted areas that are heavily soiled shall be spot treatment prior to cleaning. 4. The Contractor shall use a product specifically formulated to remove detergent residue and mineral deposits. 5. The Contractor shall supply Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals used. 6. The Contractor shall take all steps necessary to prevent damage to walls, doors, and floors. Any damage resulting from work shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and repaired/replaced at the Contractor's expense. 7. The Contractor shall keep the work area in an orderly condition and remove all debris, garbage, equipment, and materials from the job site daily and upon completion of the job in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws. 8. The Contractor shall complete all cleaning services by June 30, 2024. 9. The Contractor will coordinate the scheduling of the service with the Point of Contact listed in Section: III. G. Delivery Notification.
