A timeline for rebid has not been established.* Rebid 1 - Fire Rated Door and Frame Repairing, Replacing, Relabeling, and Recertifying Service Description: Contractor shall furnish all labor, including travel and per diem, parts, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and every other item of expense necessary to repair, replace, relabel, and recertify deficient Fire Rated doors/frames at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), California Institution for Men (CIM), located at 14901 South Central Avenue, Chino, CA 91710. The Agreement will be executed only upon the State's acceptance of the Contractor's certificates of insurance, bonds, licenses, and permits, when such items are required. Should the Contractor fail to commence work at the agreed-upon date and time, the State, upon five (5) days written notice to the Contractor, reserves the right to terminate the Agreement. Progress Payments Progress payments are permitted on Agreements in the amount of $10,000 or more with a total term that is in excess of three months. If progress payments are indicated in the Agreement documents, a faithful performance bond in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the Agreement is required. Payments will not exceed ninety percent (90%) of the Agreement amount. Any funds so withheld may be paid upon completion of the project. The State is not required to award an Agreement and reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial deviations in the bid. The State's waiver of an immaterial deviation shall in no way modify the IFB document or excuse the bidder from full compliance with all requirements if awarded the Agreement Letters of Inquiry Submission Date September 9, 2024
