The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. General renovation and reconfiguration of a portion of the existing Laurel Oaks main building to reorganize office, support and lab spaces to provide program space, in appropriately sized rooms previously occupied by other programs. 2. Interior work includes but is not limited to: a. Renovation of the areas previously used for Early Childhood Education for use as Law Enforcement. b. Renovation of the high bay lab previously used for Construction Technologies for use as a second welding lab. c. Removal of the media center storefront facing the cafeteria and installation of an operable wall. d. Renovation of restrooms and support rooms at the north end of the academic corridor to increase the available restroom facilities. e. Reconfiguration of rooms in the intervention spaces to develop a separate corridor access to the admin suite. f. Reconfiguration of a space off the teacher's lounge for use as a wellness space. 3.
